Providing the perfect setting for team-building and corporate away days, Petty Pool Outdoor Centre offers an unrivalled range of adventurous activities in a safe and supportive environment. Be it high-level activities such as the Zip Wire and Climbing Wall, or ground-level action such as Bushcraft or archery, our highly trained Outdoor Centre team will work with your organisation to deliver the perfect programme to help you meet your aims and objectives – regardless of age or ability level.

Organised groups

We host varied day or residential programmes for schools, colleges and community groups, creating bespoke packages tailored to accommodate your group’s interests and abilities. This includes tailored activities which complement the school curriculum to support learning frameworks. We accommodate groups of up to 32 guests and design creative, varied activity programmes to meet your aims and objectives for the day.

Our programmes are flexible and can be developed to suit a wide range of abilities and needs. We also provide a choice of in-house catering services, enabling groups to choose their own menus, including guests with special dietary requirements. 

Hire-space for meetings & functions

As well as full access to our amazing Outdoor Centre activities, Petty Pool College welcomes groups or businesses who may be interested in utilising our excellent conference and meeting facilities. We can offer large or small groups modern, private rooms equipped with IT and presentation equipment, in-house catering service and plentiful parking.

OUTDOOR CENTRE FACILITIES INCLUDE…

GAMES ROOM

We have wide range of board games, snooker table, table football and we have a wide-screen television. In addition to this, there is plenty of outdoor space for ball games.

ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION

Our cosy on-site log cabins comfortably sleep four and each comes with its own en-suite bathroom with shower. We have wheelchair accessible cabins too.

FIRST AID TRAINED STAFF

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, our staff are all first aid-trained. They are on-hand to make your trip safe and enjoyable. 

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

The majority of our 40 acre site is wheelchair accessible. This includes on-site facilities. We can also build a suitable activities package for wheelchair users.

24HR DUTY OFFICER

During your visit to Petty Pool Outdoor Centre, there will always be a member of staff on hand to assist with any queries or requirements you may have.

CANTEEN & LOUNGE

At the centre of our site is the Petty Pool lodge, which includes our canteen and lounge. We also have bushcraft activities which enable visitors to cook outdoors.
