SALARY: £4,788.96 per annum£13.16ph

HOURS: Saturday or Sunday (Flexible) – 7 hours per week – 7:30am – 3:30pm

DBS: Enhanced check required

About Petty Pool

Petty Pool Trust is a specialist charity dedicated to supporting young people with learning disabilities and difficulties. We provide high-quality education, training, and outdoor learning experiences that empower individuals to develop skills, confidence, and independence.

Due to expansion, we are looking for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to carry out light maintenance on a fleet of 16 vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicles are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

Duties
Alternating weeks: week one, inspect all vehicles. Week 2 and 3, vacuum and take all vehicles to the college car wash. On a rotating basis.
Operate car wash equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring that all vehicles receive thorough cleaning.
Perform manual cleaning tasks, including washing, waxing, and vacuuming vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for any damages or issues before and after the wash process.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the car wash area, including tools and supplies.
Assist team members with inquiries or concerns regarding services offered.
Drive vehicles safely within the premises as needed during the wash process.
Full training and induction provided

Qualifications and Experience
Essential

Full clean drivers licence
Experience in basic vehicle checks (check and fill fluids, check lights, indicators, oil, windshield wipers etc)
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as lifting and bending
