Volunteering at Petty Pool is about making a difference, together.
Volunteers support the work we do and help to create positive, inclusive experiences for our learners.
Volunteering opportunities vary and may change over time, depending on current needs and capacity.
We often host corporate group volunteering days but we’re also keen to hear from individuals who may be interested in supporting future activities, such as community fundraising, marketing, and events.
We offer and provide guidance, training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.

Who can volunteer?
We welcome interest from people of all backgrounds. No prior experience is needed – just a willingness to get involved and a commitment to inclusion.
Is volunteering accessible?
We aim to make volunteering accessible wherever possible. Please let us know about any adjustments you may need when you enquire.
What sort of volunteers do you require?
Throughout the year, we have a range of volunteering opportunties, from work in our woodlands, to administration, fundraising events to painting and decorating. We’d love to find out more about you, and your team (if applicable) to find out how we can best use your skills, or willing hands!
Some examples of work our volunteers have recently supported with:
– Bracken Bashing – working with our Woodland management team to maintain our 40 acres of Cheshire Woodland!
- Decorating our offices, learning spaces or environments ready for our team and learners
- Preparing ground for the build of a new quiet space therapy area.
- Community Fundraising – speaking at local community groups about the work of Petty Pool
- Marketing Support – Photography and Digital Marketing Support
