Term Dates
Our term dates help learners, parents, and carers plan for the academic year ahead.
Please refer to the calendar below for key dates, including term start and end dates, holidays, staff training days, and college closures.
Arriving at College
- College starts at 9:00am each day.
- Learners arriving after 9:10am will receive a late mark in the register.
Reporting an Absence
If a learner is unable to attend college, a parent or carer should notify us before 8:30am on the day of absence.

Supporting Good Attendance
We understand that there can sometimes be barriers to attendance. Our team works proactively with learners and families to provide support and identify solutions where needed.
Support may include:
- Individual attendance support plans
- Phased returns to college
- Wellbeing and pastoral support
- Working with families and external professionals
Authorised Absences
Absences may be authorised for reasons such as:
- Illness
- Medical appointments
- Exceptional circumstances
To support learner progress, we ask families to avoid booking holidays during term time wherever possible.
Attendance, Wellbeing and Safeguarding
Learner wellbeing is a priority. If attendance begins to decline, our team may contact families to offer support and understand any challenges affecting attendance.
We carefully monitor attendance and follow up on unexplained absences to help ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of every learner.
