This week, students at Petty Pool Vocational College held a special afternoon tea to invite donors, supporters and volunteers who are helping us with our new mission of improving and updating our classrooms to look around the site.
The event was attended by HM Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire David Briggs and charity patron Lady Grey of Condor.
Lord Lieutenant David Briggs kindly hosted the event for Petty Pool, and urged others to support the charity campaign to provide new classrooms for our expanding college.
Guests heard from students, before having a tour of the College and having an afternoon tea prepared by the Hospitality and Catering students.
Chief Executive Jayne Wilson said: ‘Petty Pool is incredibly lucky to have such fantastic facilities, but with our numbers increasing, we need more classrooms to support more students.’
We already have £450,000 allocated to our campaign, thanks to a legacy left by one of our past students Snowy. We now need help in securing the remaining £250,000 for our project.’
