PETTY POOL TRUST OUTDOOR CENTRE

The Petty Pool Trust Outdoor Centre runs residential experiences for young people with learning disabilities, mainstream schools, colleges, teacher inset days and corporate businesses from throughout the UK and Europe.

During the course of your stay you can take part in activities such as Climbing and Abseiling, Zip Wire, Crate Stacks, Canoeing, Jacobs Ladder and the Leap of Faith. Alternatively you can choose to take in the beauty of the Surrounding 40acres of woodland and take part in Nature Walks (day or night), Stream Walks, Den building, Orienteering, Blindfold Trail and Pond Dipping. The centre is licensed with the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority and all activities are Risk Assessed and updated on a regular basis.

We also provide low level teambuilding activities to help your group bond as a team whether you are a relatively new group forming or an established group which needs a bit of a spark putting back into it.

If you preferred you could attend for a day visit as we provide teambuilding days for new groups forming e.g. new starters at colleges or schools to corporate businesses that would like to take part in away days. These days have proved very successful and have enabled groups to bond with their peers, motivate themselves for whatever task is thrown at them giving the participants a sense of achievement.

Accommodation at the Centre is log style cabins with 4 bunk beds in each room there are 7 rooms in total all en-suite. Accommodation includes food in the price consisting of breakfast, packed lunch, evening meal, and snack for supper.

Food is catered to the needs of the individual whether this is vegetarian, vegan, wheat free, gluten free etc. All evening meals are homemade therefore healthy options are on offer.

Petty Pool Instructors are required for Activities.
